If you’re looking for warm weather, summer is the best time to visit, but will also be the busiest months. Bustling Peak Season at Lake Tahoe
- Summer (June-August): Summer reigns supreme as the busiest time at Lake Tahoe. The weather in Lake Tahoe varies quite a bit depending on the season. The best time to visit for warm weather is during the summer months, from June to September. During these months temperatures can reach the high 70s and low 80s, making it perfect for swimming, hiking and other outdoor activities. The fall months, from September to November also provide pleasant weather, with temperatures ranging from the 50s to the 70s. Winter from December to February is chilly with temperatures dipping below freezing, but is the best time to visit if you want to go skiing or snowboarding.
EXPLORING THE KOHALA COAST OF HAWAI’I
The Kohala Coast graces the northwestern shore of the Big Island of Hawai’i. Golf has become synonymous with the Kohala Coast in part due to the annual Senior PGA tour stop there and the former Senior Skins games that brought together golf legends like Lee Trevino, Jack Nicklaus, and Arnold Palmer. It’s said to be “eternal springtime” on the West side, with almost constant warm and sunny weather. The average high and low in the coolest month (February) is 82˚, and the warmest month (September) is 88˚. Evenings are typically in the mid 70s to low 80s, and it’s rare for the temperature to ever drop below 70˚ on the coast.
